Samcheonpo Bridge Yeongnyeon Festival is held every January 1st. Yeongnyeon Festival has the advantage of the most beautiful water way in Korea. It runs a separate event areas to prevent congestion of cars and crowds from Yeongyeon event areas. Many visitors coming from the Seoul metropolitan areas seek this festival.Yeongnyeon festival starts with the performance of Sorinuri (traditional percussion band) and features drum performace Mondeumbuk byt Sacheon Culture Center traditional art team. Fireworks are shot in front of Dongseodong Daebang military port to celebrate the coming of the New Year. Visitors gather to see the beautiful fireworks. |
