현존하는 수많은 '가장 위대한', '최고의','가장 인기 있는', '가장 뛰어난' 영화의 목록들을 살핀 후 그 목록들에 자주 등장하는 타이틀을 우선적으로 골랐다. 잠정적으로 1300편 정도를 고른 후, 전체적인 편수를 줄이는 동시에 다양한 시기와 국가와 장르, 운동, 전통과 중요한 작가들을 안배하여 정리하였다. 또한 자의식적인 '수준 높은' 영화나 고도의 예술적인 영화에 대한 무비판적인 선호에 치우쳐 흔히 '저급'하다 여겨지는 장르들이나 수준이 미심쩍은 미학을 지닌 영화, 대중적인 취향에 영합하는 영화, 이데로기나 윤리의 관점에서 모호한 가지츷 지닌 영화를 무시하지 않으려 각별히 주의하여 1001편의 리스트를 가려냈다. 스티븐 제이 슈나이더, 이언 헤이든 스미스가 책임편집 하에 만들어진 이 리스트는 2019년 개정판으로 고인이 된 채드윅 보스만 주연의 <블랙 팬서>(2018)가 마지막 영화로 포함되었다.

2022년 사사로운 영화 리스트는 20명의 영화평론가, 영화제 프로그래머, 영화전문기자, 미디어 작가에 의해 선정되었습니다. 2021년 11월부터 2022년 10월까지 전 세계 영화제 일반 첫 상영작 및 동기간 국내 영화제 일반 첫 상영작, 국내 일반 첫 공개작이 그 대상이 되었습니다. 같은 기간 소개된 TV물도 가능하며, 복원작의 경우 그 복원작이 해당 기간 내에 첫 소개되었다면 그또한 대상이 됩니다. 그리고 이러한 기준 속에서 20명의 선정위원들은 자신만의 '개인적인' 영화 리스트를 만들었습니다. 올해는 특히 영화의 경계에서 작업하시는 분들이 선정위원으로 합류해주셨습니다. 그들의 사사로운 리스트를 소개합니다. 참고로 각 선정위원의 리스트는 모두 무순(영화 제명 가나다순)입니다. 선정작 중 일부는 (https://www.koreafilm.or.kr/cinematheque/programs/PI_01439) 시네마테크KOFA에서 상영될 예정(2022.12.13. ~ 2023. 1. 8.)이며, 각 선정위원들은 리스트 중 한 편의 영화에 대해서 글을 쓰게 됩니다. 2023년까지 KMDb 영화글을 통해 연재합니다. 200

6590한국영상자료원한국영화100선 (2014)<NA>K03458최후의 증인이두용1980Korean Film Archive100 Korean Films (2014)<NA>한국영상자료원 개원 40주년을 맞아 한국 영화학자와 평론가, 영화계 종사자 등 62인이 뽑은 한국영화 100선 목록. 초창기부터 2012년 12월 31일까지 극장에서 개봉한 모든 한국 장편영화(극영화, 다큐멘터리, 애니메이션 불문)를 대상으로 2013년 4월 24일부터 6월 23일까지 두 달간 설문투표를 진행한 결과, 동률 작품을 포함하여 총 101편의 작품이 선정되었습니다. 상위 9위 이내의 작품들(동률작품 포함 12편)에 한해 그 순위를 발표하고, 그 밖의 작품들은 제작년도 순으로 공개합니다.In commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the opening of Korea Film Archive, 62 Korean film researchers, critics, and movie industry workers were selected as the list of 100 Korean films. After a two-month survey of all Korean feature films released in theaters from the early days until December 31, 2012, a total of 101 films were selected. Only the top 12 films will be ranked, and other films will be released in the order of the year of production.
